1) Refund & Dispute Policy
A. General Donation Refund Policy
Political contributions and donations are generally final and non-refundable, because funds may be used promptly for campaign-related expenses.
However, Coreen for Prosecutor will consider refund requests in limited circumstances, including:
-
Duplicate transactions (e.g., you accidentally donated twice)
-
Incorrect donation amount (e.g., you entered $500 instead of $50)
-
Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions (e.g., donation made without your permission)
-
Technical errors (e.g., payment processed in error)
B. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email hello@coreentforprosecutor.com with:
-
Your full name
-
The email used at checkout (if different)
-
The date and amount of the transaction
-
The reason for the refund request
-
Any helpful details (e.g., screenshot, confirmation email)
Timeframe: Please submit refund requests within 14 days of the transaction date.
We may be unable to grant refunds requested after that period, especially if funds have already been allocated or spent.
C. Refund Processing Time
If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Typical processing times are 3–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
D. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us before filing a chargeback so we can try to resolve it quickly.
If you file a chargeback or dispute through your bank/card issuer:
-
Stripe and the payment network may immediately reverse the donation while the dispute is investigated
-
You may be asked to provide supporting information
-
Excessive disputes can result in restrictions on payment processing
We reserve the right to provide documentation to Stripe and the card network to respond to chargebacks, including donation receipts, transaction timestamps, and correspondence.
E. Recurring Donations (If Offered)
If you enroll in a recurring donation program, you authorize Coreen for Prosecutor to charge your payment method on the schedule you selected until you cancel.
To cancel a recurring donation, email hello@coreentforprosecutor.com with “Cancel Recurring Donation” in the subject line.
Cancellation requests should be submitted at least 3 business days before your next scheduled charge.
